Question V6 honda accord VS. ME!!

so i was on my way way to stater bros. (supermarket) at about 11:00 at night i got a new custom exhaust put on my car so it sounds alot better then the stock one but if definently attracts more attention.....

so i turn at the light and and just crusing and i see this honda behind me he's going kinda fast and he catches up to me at the light the lane merges from the light from 2 lanes to one and i didnt know if he was actually gonna go for it and race me but what happened was the light turned green and i see him floor it then i pop my car into 1st and accelerate slowly but the honda keeps going.I had no intention of racing the guy but i guess he wanted to race me or something , any similar experiances anyone

Did you really turn into the far lane at the light like your diagram shows? That's illegal.

So...are you asking if anyone has ever thought a Honda was going to race, got ready for it; and then it turns out the Honda was never really going to race and it was just in your head the whole time?

That's what installing "custom" exhaust will do.

what i meant was that i used to drive the same way before the new exhaust and now its just noise intimidating for people to think that you wanna race them.

I have a v6 Acura TL, same engine as the v6 Accord. Those cars are pretty quick, they'd stomp on a stock 318ti.

If I'm at a light, and someone's trying to race me, I'll rev the crap out of my motor.

Then I'll turn. It's absolutely hilarious every time.

Same here, the little racers hate that.

Haha, that happened to me on the way to the office today. i was sitting at a light, getting ready to make a right turn... a guy in a Sentra SE-R was to my left... didn't see my signal. So he looks over as he's revving his motor... so I put it into first gear as if I'm going to race him to the next light... the light turns green and I floored it off the line - into my right turn. He kept going.
