Default Some noob questions for a new ti driver...

Hello all, I have been lurking here for a while and finally got my ti. I wanted to know a few opinions from all of you.

First, I would like to upgrade my headlights to the xenon/angel eyes and wanted to know which ones you guys like to use. I see in the electronics area that most of you post about the DEPO ones, are these the best? I also don't see alot that state 318ti, and some say 318ti/m3 for and E36. Is the front end different for the ti than the regular 318/325? When I go to DDM's website I don't see it mention the 318ti, I assume these do work since people here buy them.

I also would like to add foglights. I have the base model it seems and there are no foglights there. Will the wiring be there already? Can I just buy replacement foglights and install them as if there were ones there?

Thanks all.

1. DDM Depo's are not the best but the most affordable. Look for ZKW or Hella for real German OEM quality but expect to pay double or triple DDM price. Xenon is overkill IMO. Go with a 6000k bulb for a bluish tint. All e36 lights fit, it's the corner lenses that are shared with the sedan (not coupe).
2. No, fogs are not prewired. Think Bavauto sells a kit. Make sure it's for the Ti- our pull switches are different. To do it right takes a bit of time including installing an LED in the instrument cluster.
3. Welcome.
