Arrow 318ti cali part out

1996 318ti/A cali package, arctic silver, base exterior, black leather interior (not sport)

Pictures: http://imgur.com/a/HLoUq

Car is currently at Bimmerwerks in Beltsville, MD
May be relocated to Silver Spring, MD

Engine has no compression, so everything else must go. Come pick and pull, local pickup preferred on the big items

Come get the car for $700 as is, or get parts

Sold:
Nothing yet

I can get pictures most evenings or on the weekend

And no this isn't my '96 328ti

Dang, what happened to the motor?

If the exhaust mid pipe is in decent shape I'm interested.

Ha, sounds good. How can I confirm it works for you? I've never tried to open the top

Not exactly sure. I think they can be bench tested with a battery.

I'd take it for parts either way, so perhaps assume it is working and I can try to bench test it and if it's not we can work something out.

Just curious, how much would you charge for the radiator lower housing? I just bought one from http://www.bmwdiscountparts.com and am thinking that maybe used was the way to go?

Default 318ti cali part out

Haha! You're the man Bradestar.! Good to be on your toes.

12v to the motor to see if it operates without skipping is a good start. The real test is under load of a top. What I do is just open the motor up and check all the gear teeth. Toothless gears don't work so well. At minimum, you hope the top gear (installed) is intact.

How are the inner hatch plastics (#6 here: http://realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showpart...diagId=51_2163 , #1,#5, #6, and #7 here: http://realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showpart...diagId=51_2181) and the passenger rear speaker cover (mine has the parcel shelf clip broken)? I am looking for plastics without any scuffs or cracks/cuts like my current ones. I am pretty much looking for ones in "like new" condition so I won't get my hopes up haha.

Your a good sport BlackBMWs. Thanks for that.

Smark, I tried PM'ing you but couldn't (something in your settings). Sorry I can't help you with that request.
