Default hey (new to this forum)

hey all i just found this forum and it look real awesome i just brought a 1997 bmw 318ti m sport in silver that wast imported outa japan to new zealand it has been lowered with 17'' put on it and some after market exhaust which i am unsure of the brand i hope to have pics and maybe vids of it up soon.

It is definately a great board. I just bought a 97 Sport model too. Black with the Cali roof, 5-speed.

nice mines auto unfortunatly but its very nice indeed is urs the 4 door or 2 door model?

yea we should i will have to pics up in the next week hopefully and a video if i can find the video camera and im in aucks i got ma car from tauranga, cheap to for what it has( i think)

I got the 318ti, so it's only a two door. Technically, a three door hatchback.

Auto is very comfortable though. I'm just learning to drive my 5-speed and it is a challenge. My other car is an auto. Very relaxing. I drive my auto Honda Accord to work everyday.

oh ok understand i got a conditonal restricted liscense meaning i can only drive autos i can drive manuals when i get ma full liscense in 6ish months but i gona practise on some other peoples manuals first

I guess that is kind of like a learner's permit over here. I've had my license for like 10 years but this is my first 5-speed.

we have learners over here to though but here u can have a full liscense at the age of 16 and a half minimum

So you guys at New Zealand drive on the right hand side right? You could import some nice cars from Europe and Japan that we couldn't over here.

thats mainly wat we do and we import some american cars too ma dad has a srt 10 dodge ram 2 seater and a 300c crysler they just cost a bit more for the conversion so nz not too bad
