'98 318ti "M" airdam grill replacement

A seagull committed suicide through my airdam grill this morning. The shattered pieces reveal a BMW part# 51.11-2 233 868.9-229 449 but Web searches continue to tell me the part is unavailable. Doesn't the "M" badged 318ti have the same front facia as the M3?
I would appreciate some help on finding the factory replacement or, if unavailable, an aftermarket solution to my now over-exposed lower radiator. I'm glad I found ya'll. There's not many German car enthusists in the wilds of West Kentucky.

The M ti's have the same front M3 bumpers, so either find a used one or try a dealer or other online retailer. The only difference is the lower grill, in which ti's have the slat type vis the M3's mesh (looks better IMHO). Sometimes BMW part #'s change or parts get updated and then it gets a new number. No biggy. Every one should know what you are talking about.
