I have been looking arround on the net and not having much luck tracking one down. I would like to go with a light weight one. Does anyone have any leads on where to get one for my 97 ti. Check out www.understeer.com - I know their ti has a LW fly. While it doesn't up your HP, it sure felt faster off the line and more nimble. | | | 12-03-2003, 11:27 PM | #3 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! This is what I have. | | | 12-06-2003, 01:26 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Littleton, CO Posts: 190 | Thanks for the info, one other question - Can you put a M3 Flywheel on the TI and then get the pressure plate and clutch disk to go with the new flywheel - According to Understeer.com they say that the flywheel will bolt right up, but is there enough room for everything else and will the M3 Clutch Disk Spline up right ??? __________________ Custom Cold Air Intake, Custom IAT controller, SuperSprint Exhaust, High Flow CAT, Long Tube Header, H&R 'Race' Lowering springs, Short Shifter, JB Racing Lightweight Flywheel, M3 Clutch Kit w/Rogue Semi-Metalic Disk, Zex Nitrous System, Euro Clear Corners, Elipsoid Headlights w/Halos, Eyebrows, Window Tinting, Invisible Bra | | | 12-06-2003, 07:28 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Not sure personally but Chris (aka Bimmer95) is an extremely knowledgable and upstanding guy. He has worked on any number of e36's- i would not hesitate to take his word for it if he says something. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
