Get within a few feet of the bike and it'll start, walk away and it stops/wont turn on. Hiding the ignition barrel too so the only way to steal the thing will be to put it in a van/truck. The system I bought is crazy tho. The RFID range on the system, before my modification, was like 40'. | | | 12-15-2012, 06:32 PM | #393 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: SoFla Posts: 482 | Quote: Originally Posted by DataTraveler I've just picked up an RFID system for my bike. I was considering Lo jack, a viper system and an immobilizer __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term | | | 12-16-2012, 06:13 AM | #394 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Detroit Posts: 164 | "K-9 Sombra" http://www.adelcom.net/K-9-sombra-Page.htm I'm following schematics that a guy wrote up to get the functionality I want. It doesn't function as remote start but can unlock your car (which I'll be removing from the unit since... I don't have doors ). edit: it does have immobilizer options as well | | | 12-17-2012, 09:50 PM | #395 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: SoFla Posts: 482 | Quote: Originally Posted by DataTraveler "K-9 Sombra" http://www.adelcom.net/K-9-sombra-Page.htm I'm following schematics that a guy wrote up to get the functionality I want. Ideally I would like to do the headliner, A beam covers, shift boot and an armrest in matching alcantara, I'm just waiting for that perfect sample to come my way __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term Last edited by Crashaddict; 01-09-2013 at 04:56 PM. | | | 01-10-2013, 05:45 PM | #402 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Miami, FL Posts: 874 | Gotcha guess since your burning up all that cash in the project might as well do it your way all the way huh __________________ Mods: 325is zender spoiler, 3" carbon fiber antenna, 5% tints rear windows, black out grills, Fogged air intake, Ds1 wheels, Rokkor coilovers, bilstein rear shocks, blacked out tails and home made angel eyes | | | 01-10-2013, 06:41 PM | #403 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: SoFla Posts: 482 | Yeah, the interior isnt what's all that frustrating(money can buy all of that) its the painfully slow process of the wiring __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term | | | 01-11-2013, 03:54 AM | #404 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | Ultra suede might be an option for the roof, and some other surfaces..
