Default 2003 german 318ti for sale?

How much can I get for it?
It has NAV and BT and all the toys, very nice.
I may even keep it and sell my black 97 ti

Can someone tell me some worth, these are off the radar so far, cannot tell selling price

Thank You

Is it legal? That is the big question. How is it in the country?

The car in your profile pic tis not a 2003 car! its a 1996-1999 318ti the 200-2003 ti has totally different rear taillights - see links below

do you have pictures of the car you are selling???

I'd love to try to register one of these, but not if I'd dropped a few grand to buy it.
If the state DMV database doesn't show its VIN pattern, they'd probably refuse to register it, and I'd have a very shiny paperweight.

I am VERY curious whether you have registered this car in NY.

NY has the UN and the many embassies so these folks are exempt and many times they bring odd balls that get sold without proper paperwork.

Default 2002 TI

So research I have done so far, is you can bring them over but it could cost a few bucks. Would need to bring 3 over to make it OK money or break even.

Default ANy people in NY area

Would like to get together with 2 other people
Found shipping company
Found some german cars, also found right hand drive english ones
I think German would be easier to for resale.

Anyone think this would be fun also?
They seem pretty cool and would like a newer one with more features.

I'm not your man, but I do like the idea, and would be very interested in learning how this goes, in case I would ever want to do something similar in the future.

These were never brought into the country so how do you plan on have them crash tested?

The require this if they are less than 25 years old.

That's my concern too. Won't these need to go through the "Federalization" process?

It can't be as simple as buying them in Europe and having them shipped over, or someone would already be doing it.

My impression is that there is an alternate route to proving crash compliance, which includes providing substantive proof, in the form of engineering studies, that the vehicle you want to import will perform the same way as an already-tested vehicle (which the E46 Kompakt clearly would), but to do that is also very complicated and expensive, and requires extensive knowledge and understanding of the DOT's testing and standards.

Ok look how long it took Bill Gates to get approval for his Porsche 959 so I hate to say it but thinking this is not happening for quite sometime.

Sorry just my $.02 I did bring an E30 touring back a few years ago via Canada. Their laws only require 10 years.
