Default How much HP can our diffs take?

I'm swaping a m50 in this winter and planning on making abouit 160-170 at the wheels. I have a LSD diff right now and would love to keep it(love the ratio), but i need to know if the diff and half shalfts can handle the HP and torque. Or should i swap in e30 drive tran in the rear.

I don't recall how many miles my stock LSD had until it gave up. A few driving schools a year probably shortened the lifespan. Install the diff, monitor the fluid every. You will know when the diff starts to go. Mine made a whirring sound for a year before I had to replace it with a 6 cylinder diff.
