Mark VIII Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: nj Posts: 17 iTrader: (0) Photo Gallery	Intermittent Power Steering :( Help! I have a 1997 318Ti with 160,000 miles on it. The power steering seems to be Intermittent. While turning the wheel it switches between the power steering working and not working. I took the car into a shop yesterday and had the fluid changed.........to the correct ATF fluid. That didn't fix the problem. I'm thinking I should maybe flush the system myself again? The steering is not making any grinding or skipping noises. How would I know if the problem is the pump and/or the steering rack? I've have done a search on this website, and i'm still not sure what my steering problem is. Power steering problems do seem common for the Ti. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ken
