Man, I came across a video on bf.c about a 1025HP M3 and this song was edited into it. Did some searching on youtube and found the actual artist and video for the song. They're called "Kasabian" and the song is named "Club Foot" They have more cool stuff, another song I liked was called "Shoot the Runner" | | | 04-30-2007, 03:05 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | I think i have some of there stuff on my iPod | | | 04-30-2007, 03:32 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | I have their self-titled album. Overall it's pretty good, but it sounds like one 45 minute song. Felt the same way about Death From Above 1979, but I liked their stuff more. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 04-30-2007, 03:47 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Good stuff. I like a little change here and there, so I just shuffle the cd changer and all is well. I'll check out Death From Above, thanks for the recommendation. Quote: Originally Posted by 96cali Good stuff. I listen to a pretty wide variety of music and wanted to hear other people's opinions. I think that song rocks. If anyone else here likes lounge music, down tempo chillout or stuff like Moby, Massive Attack, Zero 7, you should check out St. Germain. I'm suprised to see how many people actually knew of these guys. I wish I had heard of them sooner. | | | 04-30-2007, 04:48 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Los Alamos, NM Posts: 344 | Kasabian's first album was released in 2005 | | | 04-30-2007, 07:10 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: dorchester Posts: 700 | very big in the uk........ | | | 04-30-2007, 07:33 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 If anyone else here likes lounge music, down tempo chillout or stuff like Moby, Massive Attack, Zero 7, you should check out St. Germain. | Hooverphonic (pre-Tree album) have always been a hit. Olive and Tosca seem to do well in this genre. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 05-01-2007, 04:02 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | I thought i liked them too, then I got the cd and all the songs sounded alike. Interpol's kinda like that too, but Kasabian is worse. Not a fan... | | | 05-01-2007, 06:43 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Bend, OR Posts: 413 | Club foot is in the movie.
