LOL, you know he is going to start the build on the 1st and be done on the 2nd, lol, and have to make up "reasons" to "tune" the car. And that is exactly what should happen.

Ebay $415 shipped. It is the OBX stainless manifold & down pipe that is made for the 92-98 BMW 318 E36. It is a perfect fit for my car

Life time warantee against cracking and I find the quality excellent

I think it will take about 7 days since I'm going to take my sweet time installing it and doing a lot of aluminum welding and fabrication. What really sucks is I will not drive it for the full 30 days and will not allow anyone else to drive it...

I will not risk getting caught and extending my license issues for years. When I was young I was an idoit and lost my license for 5 years before I learned the lesson. I honestly did not drive one time during that 5 year period so I'm confident I can go 30 days. I already have my personal limo's all setup for work and play

Ok let's get this started again. I have started my turbo install and I'm 100% confident I will have a turbo 318is by July 30th when my license is renistated.

Here is were we left off before the board crashed....I bolted the turbo on and it does fit but I will have to make some custom stuff so I still have A/C:

Pulling the motor this weekend to install special duty head bolts, oil pan bung for turbo oil return and remove all S/C stuff and package.

Very nice!
Unless i missed it, what kind of numbers are you shooting for? What kind of boost will the motor take/what do you plan to run? C/R of the motor? And last, are you spraying meth on this one?

I'm doing around 25psi. CR is 8.6:1. Motor's weakest link is rods and they are rated at 500hp. It is a stroked M44 with a M47 diesel crank just under 2.2 liters. It is ok with 30psi

I will be happy with 400rwhp. The next big issue is going to be how to put it down on the pavement. This car is pretty light...
