Default FS: M3 steering rack

Hey guys,

I was just cleaning out my basement and I had forgotten that I had picked up an M3 steering rack. I paid about $140 plus shipping, I would like $100 OBO. I really dont want to deal with shipping this so I would prefer local pickup. You can pm me or email me at r_olivojr@hotmail.com.

Thanks for looking fellas,
Juni

EDIT: It also has both tie rods that are new.

I can't really afford this right now, but im thinking i should probably jump on it if you are willing to ship as i believe mine is getting a little raw....

do you remember how many miles were on it?

If I remember correctly, the car that it was pulled from had like 60K on it. Are you in Bridgewater, MA? If you are, we can just meet up. If not, and your serious about buying it, we can work something out.

If this is a 95 M, in good condition I got paypal standing by, if not I'll pass

the only better racks for us are the 95 M3(ZF Mfd) and Z3 1.9(Maval(US) mfd) models.

95s are no longer mfd, they give you the 96-99 M which is the basic 3ser rack

The Z3 is a non progressive rack made by Maval in North America.

It's just there's a new ZF rack on this car, and was wanting to ID it. I'm guessing the M racks have a tad more 'feel' and perhaps quicker ratio?

only the 95 Ms were different. all 3series 96-99, 92-95(non-M) use the same ZF rack.
