It is all stock except for a Dinan chip. It is a sweet little car, but I don't like the low beam headlights at all, poor beam pattern (2 bright spots) and terrible cut off (I'm expecting that they'll suck in snow/rain/fog). I have a set of Cibie CSR lowbeams that I pulled from my '90 BMW 325iX before I sold it and would like to install them since they are the best light I have ever used (and I already have them). From my first look I am not sure that the low beam lamps can be removed easily from the stock headlight assembly. I saw the removal process in the knowledge section but it didn't address my quandry. Any suggestions? | | | 05-05-2009, 12:59 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | I don't think the factory headlights come apart, you'd need to buy Depo's or something, also I don't think the E30 headlights are the same size as the E36 and even if they were, what you're trying to do might end up looking pretty hacked together | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
