Of course I dont want to get rid of it, but it doesn't do me any good there. So, Some details: -1995 Bostongrün active -about 336,000 miles! -New clutch and transmission bushings at 308,000. -17" e46 wheels -H&R sport springs, Blistein sport shocks -KMAC front adjustable camber plates -Brembo cross drilled front rotors -New back brake rotors and pads -No amber lights, the front and rear corners are white, as well as the side markers. -Ansa Sport exhaust -Leather interior -MZ3 shift lever -K&N Air Filter I'm sure there is more, I'll follow up with more details when I remember. The bad: -336,000 miles! This is the original motor and transmission. It still starts up with no problem, and runs like a champ! But, things are starting to fail... -it has an oil leak or two -coolant leak (mechanic said its an O-ring, which I have a new one, I just never got around to replacing) -A/C doesnt work -headliner is drooping -right now, the driver's door panel is off, because the window keeps falling off track. Hopefully I can get that fixed. -normal wear and tear on the seats, carpet, and paint of a car with 336,000 miles on it... Of course, I will post some pictures, I just have to find some. A few guys on here are familiar with my car, maybe they remember something that I forgot. I havent seen it in a year. The car runs fine, like I said, and can be driven home...but I dont think anybody wants to pay a lot for a car with that many miles on it...so, I'm really just trying to get some money for the parts/upgrades. So...whats fair? $1500? __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Turbos are great!...Especially the higher mileage m42's & m44's...A BUDGET setup should be good for atleast 400rwhp...I was running 60psi on stock internals and homemade parts... | | | | 07-13-2010, 01:30 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | What up Bobby? How's germany treating you? Pick up a 323ti yet? I bet you go to the nurburgring like once a week. Seriously though, for having 336,000 miles on it Bobby's car looked awesome the last time I saw it. The thing was on its original clutch until 308,000 miles! That's ridiculous. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 07-13-2010, 03:29 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | I think Bobby's car has the leather seats from my Black ti when I parted her out. They were nice and comfy. | | | 07-13-2010, 06:37 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: NC Posts: 33 | I'm interested in more photos. I need a cheap 318ti with a manual and a busted engine. | | | 07-13-2010, 08:35 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | Hey Dave! Well, my company car is an Opel Corsa 1.4 diesel, so its not quite the car for the nürburgring! I have yet to go there...but the autobahn is a dream! And our BMW factory in our town is making the Z4s. Overall, I'm loving it here! Pat, yes that is your old interior, as well as the ANSA sport and the MZ3 shifter (and probably a few other things ) @Cultureslayer- I will get some pics up soon. The engine is NOT busted! But, I know what you're saying...I'll be in Charlotte on Sept 11th through the 17th, so thats when I will want to do the deal. But if you want to go check it out, I'm sure that would be fine with my mom. __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Turbos are great!...Especially the higher mileage m42's & m44's...A BUDGET setup should be good for atleast 400rwhp...I was running 60psi on stock internals and homemade parts... | | | | 07-14-2010, 01:44 AM | #6 | Member Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: NC Posts: 33 | I hate that I can not PM you yet. I was hoping to find something in the next month, so I guess I'd have to arrange to go to Charlotte assuming the pics are decent and there's nothing horribly wrong cosmetically (I understand the age of the car, just want to convince the SO it's worth driving to go look at it because he hates doing body work). I live near Raleigh so I could go there to look at it then again later to pick it up if I had to. | | | 07-15-2010, 04:41 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: The Atomic City Posts: 318 | Hmmm.......interested! | | | 07-18-2010, 04:11 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | Pictures are uploading right now...sorry for taking so long. Another thing I thought of, this car has Depo headlights, with the Eagle 6000K HIDs from PNOSKER's first group buy. __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Turbos are great!...Especially the higher mileage m42's & m44's...A BUDGET setup should be good for atleast 400rwhp...I was running 60psi on stock internals and homemade parts... | | | | 07-18-2010, 04:20 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Turbos are great!...Especially the higher mileage m42's & m44's...A BUDGET setup should be good for atleast 400rwhp...I was running 60psi on stock internals and homemade parts... | | | | 07-18-2010, 04:29 PM | #10 | Member Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: NC Posts: 33 | No problems, turns out the timing won't work out to look at the car today anyway. Looks great. Do want (assuming your mom hasn't been using it as a cage for a poo flinging monkey since the pictures were taken). Will PM you about details. | | | 07-19-2010, 05:44 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | OK, the car is "sold pending payment." Kind of bittersweet for me to say that... __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Turbos are great!...Especially the higher mileage m42's & m44's...A BUDGET setup should be good for atleast 400rwhp...I was running 60psi on stock internals and homemade parts... | | | | 07-20-2010, 12:46 AM | #12 | Member Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: NC Posts: 33 | At least you know it will be well taken care of and live a long child and smoke free life. | | | 07-20-2010, 08:07 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | Yes, and it always wanted to be a race car, so I know that it will be happy __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Turbos are great!...Especially the higher mileage m42's & m44's...A BUDGET setup should be good for atleast 400rwhp...I was running 60psi on stock internals and homemade parts... | | | | 08-09-2010, 12:47 PM | #14 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Wilmington, NC Posts: 28 | Is car still for sale?
