Default where the heck does this hose go

i have a m44 that i am currently doing a head gasket. the 2 hoses in the rear of the head are my problem. i cant seem to remember where the really big one goes.
does anybody have an idea? i have searched and searched and no luck. the little one i left attached the unit but the other one i completely remove it.
HELP

there are 2 hose behind the head and both go connected to a Y shaped pipe

i am sorry about that i am at work. i was working on a project using caps. i looked at that link and i basically am looking for the 2 points that the hose connects too. i know that it connects the y on the head but where does the other end go?
i can't believe that i cant find a coolant hose diagram.

That diagram doesn't show it, but I'm pretty sure the hose you are talking about connects to the firewall up by the brake booster.

I believe that goes to the heater valve along with hose #13

This might help. The hose not shown on the top of the y connector is for the intake coolant line.

thank you very much. i will get out this weekend and finish the job. just not enough light after work. so far the hardest part of the head gasket is the exhaust bolts and remembering where that hose goes.
