Default Need guidance: '95 TI won't start, etc.

My '95 TI has 182K mi. and has run flawlessly since I bought it 4 yrs. ago. A couple of days ago it started stuttering when I tried to accelerate moderately. Today it won't start at all. Just wondering if anyone has had this similar issue. It happened suddenly and I've been thinking it's a fuel flow problem but don't know if there's something electrical gone south.

Can you borrow a code reader from somebody?

First check the codes. Since your car is a 1995, you can do it by putting the key in position 2 and pressing the gas pedal 5 times fast. Have a pen and paper ready to translate the check engine light flashes to numbers. There are DIY's on doing this.

Let us know what numbers come up. This will keep the SWAG's down.

Yup, easiest way is to get the codes. If you can't get a code, and you think it is related to fuel, start troubleshooting the fuel system. Make sure the fuel pump is turning on, etc..

Just discovered that there was water in a spark plug cylinder. Cleared it out and it runs fine. The windshield drip rail is pretty trashed and I'm wondering if that is the cause. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it.

A lot of people have mentioned water in the number one spark plug well.

It's a weird one, but it happens.

Glad to hear you figured it out.
