Is burning out bushings the accepted way of doing things...just curious.

as long as you don't heat the metal up too much it's fine. Done it on the BMW and my old ford. And countless other cars. I didn't even burn the paint off the subframe when I did my bushings.

I think my rear subframe and trailing arm bushings are pretty toast, body has 222K on the odo...

The bushing! Yes, it was just a tad dangerous. There are a bunch of how-to's for E30s around (I googled it) . That's what I used as a guide.

I removed the traction control throttle body, since asc willnever work. I also removed my airbox snorkel... If any one has an extra abs unit from a 98ish car they want to donate that'd be great!

I fixed my drivers door window AGAIN, hopefully for good this time, I had to bend the front track the window kept popping out when it was down and you shut the door, I slammed it a bunch of times, seems to stay in for now...
