How do you mount the engine hoist to the engine? Or actually where do you mount it? I cant seem to find where to mount it on the back of the M50 engine. Pics would be great. Thanks! | | | 07-20-2008, 09:54 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Newcastle UK !BMW TECH! Posts: 110 | theres a hole in the block just above the gearbox near the starter motor. The front is obvious. The rear chain needs to be longer than the front to ensure the engine hangs level. | | | 07-22-2008, 05:44 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | I just bought a tow strap rated for a couple tons and wrapped it around the engine. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
