Default M50 swap suspention

I am going to start my swap in a week or two and I will like to know if I cand match M-tech front 325i springs to my m-tech front struts? Do I also need new front M-tech struts?

I did it ..in mine ...before re-swapping to s50... and you need to install complet shock-spring strut in the front from 325....anyway its the original susp for that engine ...

+the ti is 350kg lighter than you model ..so its enough ..

BUT YOU MOSTLY NEED TO SWAP THE FRONT BRAKE SYSTEM ... for the 325....anf thats the minimum requirement

I also swapped my suspension before putting the M52B28 in. I used after market coilovers. The type I bought are fine for the new weight.

Agreed with the brakes, I currently have the original 316 brakes in. They are fine for normal use, however they are not the best at slowing down from high speed.
I am currently rebuilding a set of callipers, the fronts are from a 328 and rear from a 318ti Sport (same size as 328 rears however solid not vented). Some people have said that this will not be sufficient, but i'm sure they will be fine on the Compact.
Hopefully I can get those on this weekend.
