Default seat covers??

Has anyone had luck with a set of good fitting seat covers? i just bought a pair from BavAuto that supposedly would fit the e36 sport seat (hardback with movable thigh support) that is in my 95 Ti (leather bolsters are worn bad, cloth centers are ok)... backrest cover fits good but the lower (seat itself) is way off. I returned them and the "tech expert" said it must have been a fluke, so they reordered a set from the manufacturer for me... same fit

Anyone put covers on their seats? what brand/ where did you buy?

thanks,

95 TI that is all original with 256,000 and driving strong!

I used universal covers from neighborhood auto parts store. Where you sit is real sheepskin, sides and back are stretchy imitation sheepskin. The way I got a good fit with those was to remove the seat from the car, then remove the panel with the adjusting levers. Reinstalled the adjusting lever panel over the seat cover--anchors it real well.

They fit well, feel good and look nice to me.

I have two Amazon Basics 12-Volt Black Heated Seat Cushion with 3-way Temperature Controllers ($20 each). I would just cannibalize the Heating elements and put them in place on the seat then pull on the cover. Then wire them into 12V Plug for the Cig Lighter.
