This car is my daily driver. Engine runs strong, no known issues. New parts since I have owned the car, since July: - Mobil 1 in engine, Redline in tranny, BMW coolant
- New belts
- New idler pulleys x 3
- New plugs
- New water pump
- New plastic coolant pipe
- New thermostat
- New vacuum hoses to / from ICV
- New vacuum hoses to fuel injectors
- New flow matched fuel injectors
- New motor / tranny mounts
Things that will be sold with the engine: - Long Block
- All bolt-on accesseries, AC compressor, alternator, power steering pump
- Intake including the sought after M42 intake
- Exhaust manifolds. You can have the cat section too, but the heat shield is loose, needs to be removed
- Engine wiring harness
- DME
- Transmission & Clutch
- Engine mounts
I also have a manual tranny 328 (my engine donor) wreck that you could pull the clutch pedal, etc. from if you are trying to do an auto to manual tranny swap at the same time Will include a few misc. M42 parts, extra ICV, intake boot, MAF, intake gasket, etc. Have not attempted to dress-up the engine, or make the engine shiny. This is exactly as driven photos. Asking $700 cash picked up in Lakeland, FL for everything. Lakeland is approximately half way between Orlando and Tampa, FL. Just getting back from a quick trip to North Africa on business and can pull it this weekend if a buyer pops up. Willing to split the engine and tranny up. | | | 11-20-2013, 01:34 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Lakeland, FL Posts: 229 | $600? | | | 11-22-2013, 12:24 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Lakeland, FL Posts: 229 | No one in the central Florida area needs a decent M42 with manual tranny? | | | 12-05-2013, 04:46 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Miami, FL Posts: 874 | interested shot u a pm __________________ Mods: 325is zender spoiler, 3" carbon fiber antenna, 5% tints rear windows, black out grills, Fogged air intake, Ds1 wheels, Rokkor coilovers, bilstein rear shocks, blacked out tails and home made angel eyes | | | 12-07-2013, 11:45 PM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2013 Location: New York Posts: 23 | I am interested but I am in NY and that's a hike to Florida. Will include the 5 speed shifter, and the driveshaft as well. Reduced to $600, looking for someone to come quickly and get it of the garage. | | | 01-06-2014, 01:14 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Lakeland, FL Posts: 229 | Someone in the southeast must need this | | | 01-13-2014, 03:52 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Lakeland, FL Posts: 229 | How about $500? I am going to put it back up one more time on Craigslist locally before I start to part it out. Parting it just seems like a shame. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
