Default Swap/DASC prices... time...

Can anyone give me some estimated numbers for price of DASC and Engine Swaps, i realize most of the money involved comes from the actual supercharger/engine. But it seems like the engine swap would involve alot more extra parts and upgrades to the drivetrain and such. Im in Italy now and have had at a few chances to pick up a evo m3 engine and i just dont know if it would be worth it in the long run compaired to the DASC. Anyways, thanks in advance. Oh my Ti is a 98 with like 67k on it.

There are LOTS of threads on this, but I just finished the S52 swap for around $7k. This includes M3 front brakes (fully rebuilt and powdercoated), wheels/tires to fit over them, and suspension (M Coupe OEM).

Your milage may vary.

Yes, you will need alot of "small stuff" that adds up quickly.... When I get time I'll make a formal thread spelling out what I spent and how.

snuggz, when you mean Mcoupe OEM, do you mean just shocks/springs or the full rear end?

hitchhike79, the ideal for a swap would be to have the donor car available, like buying a wrecked M3 and swap everything from the engine bay and front suspension/brakes.

Currently just shocks/springs... they work fine and handle pretty decent actually, although the car looks a little funny because the rear dropped about 1.5"-2" while the front stayed virtually unchanged. I plan on using a front M3 setup as soon as I can get my hands on it, and finding an entire M Coupe/M Roadster rear subframe (hard to come by as lots of E30 guys want em').
