Default Oil Service Indicator

How do I reset the oil service indicator below the odometer readout?
When I purchased my 318 I installed a new motor, and obviously changed the oil. With 2K miles driven since, the colored indicators are now in the red when I start the car.
Thanks

Turn key to pos 2, insert paperclip into pin #s 7 & 19 on the 20 pin diagnostic port, Hold it there for about 13 seconds.

I bought a case of beer and stole a paperclip from one of my classes. Works every time and there's one less tool I have to track down

BTW, I even colored the tops of the pins with a paint marker for quick reference.

Good idea! those numbers are pretty hard to read,
atleast on my car they were.
