Default RPMs @ 70-75mph?? (auto)

what kind of RPMs are you guys w/ autos seeing @ 75mph? My new-to-me Ti hovers around 3200 & doesn't seem to want to shift up & drop down around 2000-2500. Is this normal? I'm not all that familiar w/ BMW's yet...

Thanks,
Scott

It's normal, they rev high on the freeway. I believe my automatic was at 3,000 RPM exactly at 70mph.
