Use its corresponding flywheel, all e36 clutch assemblies will work.

I used lightweight flywheel and clutch for M3 (240mm), its fine but over spec?
replaced the release fork lever with euro M3C just in case.
euro M3B is what the US market has and this has the same fork as the ti...i think?

so best one maybe for the 325/328 clutch kit (225mm)for ti for upgrade.

okay sounds good to me and i have looked into both and the 325 clutch and flywheel are so much cheaper than the m3 so i might be going with the 325 clutch

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I got a 328 clutch and flywheel that I am going to install when I do my auto manual swap and I noticed it is a lot heavier than the 318 setup. Do you think this will have a noticeable effect on performance?

I dont know the exact numbers on the weight differences but the 318 is a little lighter.
I think the flywheel is near the same but the clutch/disk due to smaller size, its lighter.

In my opinion, will have a negative performance if heavier...need more energy to turn heavy stuff.
so lesser responsive engine...recommend to put lightweight flywheel if going larger clutches than 318.
my setup was like 11lbs lighter than normal 318 kit.
good luck

Youre not going to notice a difference
