Nope, I don't have nice rims yet but the stock wheels look pretty good. Mine is the Hellrot one, but most people just see a red blur and a trail of dust

Hey guys, I'm in North Atlanta. Silver '97 318TI Manual w/AT Italia 17" rims (similar to BBS RK), OEM ///M package, "OEM" clear lenses, center armrest, depos, Magnecor, etc... I used to have a white one but totaled it a few years back. On occasion I drive a black 97 M3/4, but it's been in the garage all winter.

I've been looking at that one and also a white one but they sold the white one.

It's an automatic tranny.

I'm looking for a 318ti but not with automatic.

Unfortunately mine is auto but I am going to do the manual swap soon. Should be a fun challenge. Glad to hear that it's not just SoCal people on this forum.

Let me know on how hard the swap is since autos seem to be more plentiful.

Love to actually get up close to one and have a look see at some point.

I've got plenty of tools if you run out of something.

Good to know. From what I have read, it is a challenging project but definitely not impossible. I think I'll be able to break even after I sell the auto transmission.

Makes sense.

My wife is a car chic so she is pretty understanding when it comes to that.

The only thing I really was not allowed at the house to have is a welder. "You'll burn the house down".

i needed on so ended up buying it.

Noticed that there are a ton of these for sale in ATL (on craig's list). I am just getting into it, and looking for some to drive and get a feel for one before I buy one.

BTW - great forum. Looking forward to learning more!
