Talking Picked up a PAIR of wheels

Attached to this Italian hunk of junk:

2001 Ducati 748S monoposto, race mapped ecu, full Termignoni carbon exhaust, HID upgrade with factory projector, forged Marchesini 5 spokes, Brembo brakes, Showa suspension and a few carbon fiber goodies. Previous owner took very good care of it and I plan to do the same. Definitely not a daily rider, it sits in the garage covered and hooked up to the battery tender.

Here's my old bike ('73 CB350k4), sold it a few years ago:

Jesse,

I now feel like complete $hit for not responding to your text. I was driving back from Miami when I received it and decided to wait to respond. I totally forgot to do that. My bad Homeboy!

This is a killer machine yo! The best birthday present I have seen someone get themselves in a long time. Congrats. Be safe. Enjoy!

No worries Sean, been meaning to call you anyway. Picked the bike up on Sunday, the seller was a true enthusiast and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I couldn't be happier. He threw in lots of extras including a serialized factory stand, a hardback Haynes service manual as well as a Ducati shop manual, all of the service records, all of the original parts that were replaced with carbon fiber including the stock exhaust and a biposto tail section(rear seat). Gave it a quick detail yesterday, but plan to remove the fairings and give it a complete engine scrubdown. I've wanted this bike ever since I laid my eyes on one in Sicily, but couldn't afford it. Spent years looking for this exact model, this exact color, with these exact options. Didn't expect to find one in this condition for such a reasonable price though. Over the years I've came across several yellow ones, two seaters, molested bikes owned by kids and non "S" models with the ugly 3 spoke wheels. The seller made a great point, "you get what you pay for" and he couldn't be more right. I kind of sensed that he was attached to it and he wasn't going to just let it go to anyone.

This and the 996s's are ageless and beautifully designed. Among my favorite. Very nice find!

That's a nice pick up on the Ducati! Always admired those and love the red! Future goal will be a red Ferrari!

Very nice score. That would look fantastic on a small open trailer behind your ti... People would not know where to look!
