Hi there, i would like to introduce myself, and of course my cars. I could tell you guys and girls all about them cars, but i'll will let the pictures do all the talking.

This is our daily" KindergartenRenner ", an '88 Touring which started as 320i. This car has hadan engine swap with a '90 M30B35, tweaked to give me 248hp - 360nm.

This Compact started as a 316i, but this engine was blown to bits so ... Let's make this baby a bit faster with an M42

This car is not ready yet, so the things to do are:

- Wheels ( in stock BBS RS 212 17" 8,5J and 9,5J )
- Paintjob front bumper
- M3 skirts and rear bumper
- Tackle the injector problem ( number four doesn't squirt fuel like the rest )

This is my story for so far, Greetings !

Thanks TiFreak, although the E30 touringwas never sold in the US, there is someone in the states who knows how to build a super touring. Maybe you've seen this before, or maybe you didn't. Check out this link: http://www.terrysaytherauto.com/yet_...roject_car.htm

The M42 engine is becoming a bit of a drag, the number 4 injector isn't getting a signal from the ECU i think. I've had all four injectors cleaned, put in some new spark plugs, checked for spark. The funny thing is that this engine ran nice for the first time. I was bleeding the cooling system and suddenly, after 20 mins. or so, she started to run on just 3 cilinders ....

I am hoping to find a exploded view of a M42 ECU or wireing diagram

Hi, thanks for the compliments. I saw your posting too. Do you have plans with your car, other than to drive it ?

Well I do intend to do stuff to it, when finances allow! I have just put 2 firestones on the rear to replace the worn out kumhos, and spent 4 hours under the bonnet trying to retrieve the end of a anti-freeze tester that decided to fall into the radiator.

Yes, well i've heard about that, there are some suicidal anti freeze testers on the loose. Quite nasty

Financial, yeah, i get that. Got three kids and a wife at home, and construction isn't the best job there is these days. Just wait for better days mate !
