Default Boser 318Ti Redo Part 3!

Wuddup guys, I know it's been awhile since I've been on the forums. I'll make up for it with this project! For this project, i'm going to redo the boser hood and repaint the car and rims to another color.

Day 1: Started to do small body work around the car.

Going to start fresh and redo the boser hood. Here's a picture of the stock look.

Next step, I welded the triangle pieces onto the hood and cut the nose panel off.

This is what it will look like after I welded the pieces on. My welds are not pretty but this is only the second time I ever weld.

Here's a image of what the back of the hood looks like after the pieces have been welded together.

Day 2 Added some panel bond to help cover up any cracks and help hold the pieces together.

Now the fun part begins...... Here I added dura glass. It's like bondo but alot stronger and thicker.

After I sanded down the dura glass with 36 grit, I used regular bondo.

This is what it looks like after I sand down the bondo with 80 grit. The custom boser hood is almost complete!

It will be a blue BMW color. Not the same blue. You'll see....

Day 3
Started to strip down the car and sanded the whole car with 320 grit then 600 grit. It's almost time to paint!

Day 4
Lay down the blue primer to see what spots I need to fix.
