Screw this

Okay my steering wheel was feeling a little shaky. So i decided to tighted the screw not a big deal i have done it before. So i take the first screw of the steering wheel with no problem. The second one was hard, i don't know how but i think i messed up the face of the screw. When i try to turn it doesn't hold onto the screw. So my question is how would i be able to take that out now?

ez out drill bit? which one is that

Im talking about the two screws located at the bottom of the stering wheel. The ones you unscrew so you can take the airbag out.

are you using a torx bit?

i went and looked at it its a T27 torx head.

EDIT: you are talking about the ones on the back of the wheel by the blinker cruise and wiper stocks right??

So the head of the screw is rounded? Or the screw just spins without grabbing? Either way, I think an ez-out will work.

In the future, use a torque wrench. There's a reason they exist.

I have the screw drivers with the torx bit. i have taken it out before with no problem but today when i was unscrewing it, the face of the screw got worn. But im gonna go to home depot and get that ez-out.

thats gonna be a crappy place to get a drill into!! be careful and go slow.

those ezouts LOVE to break if they arent in just right.... make sure its also centered.

use a center punch to help keep the bit centered.
