Default quick question about e36 fender fitment.

Okay I know to buy the e36 sedan or ti fender but I was wondering about the sidemarker hole. I have a 98 and was wondering if the 92-95 e36 sidemarkers holes could be dremeled out to fit the new style sidemarkers. Reason I'm asking is becuase the early model ones are a lot cheaper. Someone decided to slide in to me today. The $100 or so fender wasn't worth the trouble and paperwork since ill be having a nose panel and m3 bumper painted soon anyway. S@*t happens. Oh well.

anything that requires cutting, you can do :P just make sure you dont go too big otherwise your hole will be bigger than the light. and just make sure the markers are in the same spot.
