Default Cold Air Intake Help!!

I have a 96 ti, and i was wanting to fit a K&N cold air intake, my car doesn't have a place to put an air filter adapter. It just has a mass air flow sensor. Can i install a cold ait intake? Please help...

You can find kits out there that have adapters for the will attached the AFM on your car. Although, if you have 96 TI the motor should be an M44, and you should have a MAF sensor in place of the AFM.

I know that Dinan makes a pricey M44 CAI, but pretty much what you will need for the MAF set up is 3" hose that you will be able to connect a pices of pipe with a filter on it, and run the tube into the brake duct area.

I think racing dynamics has a intake for this model and it's like 110 bucks. I bought one from them but i have a 98 ti and it doesn't fit my engine. The only thing i got pissed off about is they say it's for a 98 but it's not. They told me my 98 engine is different from all the other 98's. I told them that it was very misleading and should change the year of the car for the intake. I told them that the in march and it's now october and they still haven't updated it. I don't understand how they have 2 dif engines for a 98 ti. anyway for the price you can't go wrong as long as it fits.
