Question about ACS connections

So my 1997 ti was equipped with ASC-T, traction control basically. The M3 i bought has it as well HOWEVER the connectors are different. It uses a different plug. The ti has a squarish plug that has two openings for the prongs while the ASC on the M3 has a smaller rectangular plug that has a three prong connector.
Now I'm not a genius when it comes to connections and electrical stuff but is there any way I can splice the plugs together to make it work? or will i have to follow the wires and connect them how they are in the M3 fuse box??

There is no practical way to make this work.

Now I'm going from memory here, but if the brain is working at the moment I think there are three signal paths for the ti ASC and six for the M3.

The only way to make it work is to replace the entire wiring harness from the M3 (not just the engine harness) into the ti. Then swap over all the modules and hardware from the M3.

I looked at it briefly, and then thought better of it. The ti system was poor at best; the M3 system is better, but not really needed if you can drive with a reasonable measure of skill and have a LSD out back.

just take the secondary throttle cable out of the drive module on the fender and let it go at that.

^ sounds like an awful lot of work for something like that, I'd just delete it and get an LSD, I've been driving for 2 years with no ACS and I haven't ended up in a ditch so far

Wiring diagrams vary a lot with model, and production date (not to mention options list).

If you are on good terms with your dealer, they may provide you with wiring diagrams if you give them your VIN (and some ca$h...)
