So you can use their website which superimposes the wheels onto the car. It gives you a general idea of how they look. I like those rims, but at over 800$ a piece I don't think they are worth it... I guess if they didn't have all of the exposed rivets/screws, whatever they are around the lip I would like them better... They are also really really heavy at 36 pounds a piece. | | | 09-22-2006, 07:43 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Portugal - Lisboa Posts: 205 | What are the best lightweight 17 inch wheels for a ti? Just another option... __________________ moku 1996 318ti Cali Top w/ Downing/Atlanta Supercharger 2003 M3 w/ CSL trunk, splitters, & diffuser | | | 09-29-2006, 07:08 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | Quote: Originally Posted by 318ti_Portugal What are the best lightweight 17 inch wheels for a ti? Regards! | Team Dynamics Pro Race 17x8 16-18lbs IIRC in white, black or silver, looks kinda like a Alpina wheel(10-11 spokes) www.bimmerworld.com sells them for 189$ each. These wheels have been speced by Bimmerworld to meet our demanding requirements for a lightweight race wheel. This means no spacers or hubcentric rings required for most applications (use of spacers is sometimes prefered for some track requirements). We have proven that these wheels will take a beating - multiple track weekends on this design have resulted in zero bent wheels, even while hitting curbs on the track very hard. At about 17 pounds, this is the only wheel we have found that combines lightweight design and strength at this price. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
