Have you checked or cleaned your idle valve? This might help.

nah havent had time to be honest...

i taught it might be that alright...

but i broke one of the little breather pipes on one of the injectors when i was fitting the supercharger...

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...16&hg=13&fg=15

number 2 "distributor piece"

so one of the breathers going to the injectors is not connected to the distributor piece... i have the new part just havent replaced it yet...

anyway would this have any effect on the idle ?

also what effect if any would this have on the supercharger/engine ?

thanks

Did you plug the broken ends for now? If not, it's going to be a big vacuum leak that will cause your bad idle. It'll leak boost too.

That is part of the vacuum system so this may very well be the problem with your idle. Wish I could get the DASC, but instead we have several homes in a bad market... I lost on this deal.

Fix that breather and see if that solves your idle problem, because you may be getting a leak. If it's still an issue after having done that, then check your idle valve.

changed the little distributor piece... still didnt solve the idle proble...

oh and it seems to pull the same i dont if that effects the boost at all...

im going to clean out the ICV in the next couple of days see if it helps...

also i am starting to suspect that the throttle cable is sticking a little how can i stop this ?

also is it possible to extend the throttle cable cos it looks ugly the way it just goes accross the engine ( its a right hand drive )...

thanks
