"And Stuff". How bout you elaborate, so the buyer isnt surprised with a bunch of **** he has to replace. So from the statement, youre selling a running beat up DD for $4k. Since everything is ****ed besides the motor and tranny. __________________ Joe, In San Luis Obispo E30-> '96 TI sport -> E30 -> '96 TI | | | 05-16-2008, 09:20 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | how does $900.00 sound? i know a guy that paid that for an auto with both window regulators broken. and, everything works on his car....lucky guy! $900.00 sounds fair __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 05-17-2008, 01:17 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | good luck with sale __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 05-17-2008, 01:23 AM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Pennsburg, PA Posts: 17 | no sry | | | 05-17-2008, 02:08 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Ohio Posts: 58 | 1500.00 cash? | | | 05-17-2008, 03:23 AM | #9 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Pennsburg, PA Posts: 17 | sry, a bit too low | | | 05-17-2008, 03:34 AM | #10 | Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Ohio Posts: 58 | 1700.00?? | | | 05-17-2008, 04:24 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Fair offer if you ask me. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 05-17-2008, 05:10 AM | #12 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | C'mon guys, he's just trying to get into a manual Ti for obvious reasons. $4000obo doesn't seem too unreasonable, though I'm sure we've all seen better deals. spr318ti, perhaps you could post a couple pics to justify your asking price. I know it sucks when you get lowballed, but maybe if you fixed the smaller issues such as the window regulators and "stuff", you might get a better response. From your avatar, it looks as though your car is calypsorot which is a pretty rare color. I'd spend a weekend fixing the minor things and another weekend detailing it, color match the sideskirts or use some forever black and then post up a nice forsale thread with a little more info on the car. Be sure to include pics from every angle, the goods, the bads and a little history or recent services done to it. I wish you the best of luck on the sale and your future purchase. I truly sympathize with you because I'm in the same boat. I'm trying to sell a car to fund one of my own projects that I otherwise couldn't afford. Also, try posting on craigslist, bf.c and ebay. The more people who see it, the better your chances are. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 05-18-2008, 03:11 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: SOUTH Jersey Posts: 1,085 | If I had $2000 I would make you an offer.. $2500 if you can wait till around the end of June | | | 05-19-2008, 09:24 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Pismo Beach, CA Posts: 500 | Jess, sellin a TI? I'm not actively trying to sell it on this forum because I think I'm asking more than most people here are willing to pay. spr318ti, send a few pics to cooljess76@yahoo.com and I'll host them for you if you'ld like, otherwise you should be able to upload a few to your photo gallery. Personally, I don't think 4 grand is unreasonable for a local sale, especially with gas prices these days. You should get a window marker, write 4k REALLY BIG on the windows with your phone number and park it downtown. I did exactly that with my Avus base ti and it sold in a couple of hours. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
