Default New to the group

Hi All,

Just want to say thanks for the addition to the group.
I have been looking at the 318ti for some time now. Just recently I took the plunge and bought one.
I am the proud owner of a Silver, year 2000, E36 318ti, 5 spd manual.
Body is in good condition but front suspension is in need of a full rebuild and suspect engine is getting tired (210,000 kms).
Looking forward to the journey.

Kind regards,
Jamie

Welcome Jamie,
I learned a lot from this forum that helped me when I rescued a 95 ti. Enjoy!

Cheers, Butch

Jamie,

Just picked one up this Friday. Mine needs suspension overhaul as well, but appears to be in great shape!

We'll be along the same path!

Hi everyone, I’m currently working on a 1996 alpine white E36/5. I bought the car from someone I knew that works on cars and it only had 65k miles. That was about 1 year ago, so now the car has been given some upgrades and some new shoes. I recently added some polyurethane bushings with solid transmission bushing mounts. Along with the bushing upgrades, I also swapped out the old aftermarket coil over strut with Air bags. Next, I’m looking into boosting my 318ti .
