It is painted hellrot red and has never been mounted. I bought it a few years ago from this site and never got around to mounting it and I no longer have the car. http://directcartoys.com/1992-1999-3...-P2323286.aspx I had sold it to another forum member, campione, but he sent it back saying the curve of the spoiler didnt correspond to the roof. Campione, could you please chime in with more details if you don't mind? Or if anyone is interested I'm sure you can just pm him with any questions. I sold my ti so I can't really test fit it and check out what the problem was but if anyone else is interested in trying to get it mounted on their car I'm looking to get $120 shipped. I ordered both the trunk and roof spoiler for the ti from that site (idk, maybe the sent me the wrong roof spoiler?). The trunk spoiler fit fine on my car but from what I understand the contour on the roof spoiler is a little off. I never tried to mount it so I dont really know where the problem with it is so I'm hoping campione can provide some insight from his experience. | | | 08-07-2012, 07:32 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2009 Location: Orange County, CA Posts: 2,019 | DANG, if it was a good fit i'd be on this :/ __________________ V2 in progress. Lauderdale, FL. I think they "pulled" the piece too early from the mould and it self-straightened a bit. It sat about 2"-2.5" high on either end when laid on the 318ti. In other words, the contour is off. I considered back-cutting the bottom to bend it (like you would a piece of wood) but don't have the tools or patience to do it. The piece is very well painted and it would have finished my 318 perfectly but it just didn't work. If you have the time and tools, give it a shot. It is a good piece that simply needs some TLC. | | | 08-31-2012, 08:19 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Boston MA Posts: 135 | any interest? open to offers | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
