Unhappy My Precious is hurt

It happened thursday - my son rear ended a gm while driving my ti

hood - new needed
bumper - new needed
fog lights - new needed
kidney grill, trim strip - new needed
etc, etc

no rad damage, or fluid loss

my best guess, for parts costs from RealOEM is about $1600 can.

I'm still in pain, but it seems to me I expected this sooner

That is some bad news! My roomate rear ended someone while driving my 1990 300zx TT about 2 years ago....i was soo upset, but after I was dne repairing my car it was better than ever. Sometimes a fender bender will work as a motivator to get the things you wanted done on the car. Such as a upgraded front bumper/valance, new foglights...headlights, and carbon fiber hood like in my case...i also upgraded to some 3 piece 19 inch wheels! Insurance money is always easier to spend. In your case i hope you will gat some insurance money.

well, if you want. In a month I should have a used Calypso red Front bumper I am not using. I am expecting my Mtech front bumper this weekend, once I get it painted, it is going on and the stock will be redundant.

Just got good news

the total damage was just over $4500, so the insur co was considering writing it off. The body shop just called and told me they have been told to do the repairs - will be getting some other minor work done while in body shop, so she will be PERFECT when we get her back - can't wait to get her back on the road.

thanks DnD
