I've taken it to a couple muffler places to see if they can mate it to my 6cyl setup, but most say they won't even bother trying to weld to that exhaust even if cleaned up. I don't really have the time to start working on solutions to make this viable. (Like welding a plate to the entire back of the exhaust to form a new surface to weld onto). So, it's for sale. Let's start the bidding at $160 shipped. | | | 07-23-2008, 03:07 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Sending PM __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 07-23-2008, 03:12 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Boston MA Posts: 135 | second dibs! | | | 07-24-2008, 12:52 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | This goes to the first person who pays for it. | | | 07-25-2008, 02:18 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | bump - someone buy this. . . i've got to pay for my 328 muffler! | | | 07-25-2008, 02:50 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: PA Posts: 822 | Good luck with selling the exhaust. You might want to lower the price to get rid of it. I think a new bosal exhaust is around the same price. __________________ Clever but we are clueless...
