Default My 318ti project

So, this is my 318ti project atm... please leave some tip, reply or any sugestions =)
Back for more progress! Got a new jobb to pay for the upcoming modds!

Next to do:
Install new rear breaks, Install the DTM lip, remove all rust on the car (found a bit to much),

Pictures is a bit blury, cause im takeing them with my phonecam...

My english aint to good, hope you understand =)

* = Done while beeing member of this site

Things iv done:
-Changed front grill to black style late E36 / E46 lookalike
-Changed front bumper to Rieger Infinity II
-Changed Headligt to Hella Crome Projector headligths
-Installed Xenon 8000k to the low beam light (dunno what its called in english)
-Changed old floor mats to E46 floor mats
-Fixed rear light to do double brake lights
-Changed OEM whipers to Silence nometal whipers...
*-Changed high beams to Xenon 8000k
*-Buy new rear side windows and tint em, also mounted em
*-Finished the rear end of my car...
*-Bumpers painted at Paint workshop
*-Add grills and clear foglighs with bluevision bulbs to my front bumper
*-Add grills to my rear bumper
*-Add plasma light into the instrument gauge / speedo / RPM
*-Apply my rear bumper to the car
*-Painted My dash trim
*-Change muffler to dual 3,5" square muffler (not finished yet, have to reconstruct the rear part of my exhoust) pictures to come...
*-Added grill behind the main grill
*-Added a bit tint to the front window (pictures to come)
*-Installed new MOMO steering wheel hub and "sports/raceing" steering wheel with blue stitches to match the interior color.
*-Installed m3 mirrors (Theyr not painted jet...)
*-Installed new Gear knob
*-Installed new fogligths (pictures comin)
*-Changed the cam shaft position sensor (old one didnt work)
*-Installed Audio / power wireing for amp and speakers...
*-Installed a 6-channel amp 4x75Watt RMS + 1x600Watt RMS
*-Installed a 12" multimagnet subwoofer, 800Watt RMS 1600Watt MAX...
*-Installed a Sony Xplod CDX-GT60U cd-player...
*-Buy 18" rims (black gloss with 2/2,5" Polished Lip) **THESE HAS BEEN INSTALLED NOW*
*-Installing 40\30 lowering springs, or install fully coilover kit.. (Il have to install bilstein or koni shocks as the car aint stiff enough)
*-Installed Rear Enforced shock Guide supports
*-Installed Rear Rubber Mountings
*-Installed Rear Stabilizer links
*-Bent the inside of the rear fenders as my 8,5" wide rims will fit
*-Installed New rear bumper
*-Rewelded the exaust to fit 100% with the new bumper


Things im gonna do:
-Buy paint and mount m-tech moldings around the car
-Buy black a-b-c pillars
-Buy black interior roof.
-Buys new locks and handles both sides.
-Mount the Centerforce dual-friction clutch that I just got from Summit Racing =)
-New 4% header tint in front windshield
-Buy and install rear windshield spoiler!
-Change front indicator ligts to clear ones... or simply buy new haedlights w/ indicators thats black inside with projector and halos...
-Change rear light to clear ones with indicator light, then get em tinted at Paint Workshop.
-Remove the cat... (maby change it with a full flow silencer to silence the exhoust sound a bit, think it got a bit to loud with the muffler)
-Repaint the whole car in a same color, maby a bit lighter... (also remove rust and such)...
-Tint front side windows 43%
-Tint rear window 23%
-Mount the Rieger Infinity II DTM lip for the frontbumper
-Buy and install Carbon Fibre emblems for hood, hatch...
-Install Carbon Fibre Hood
-Change the pedals
-Buy and install aftermarket Sport seats
-Buy and install new front speakers and rear speakers
-New LSD! (from z3 m coupe? or any good E30 LSD)

turbo kit (shopping list):

*Since this is my daily driver im going to start buying parts, and install em when I have everything I need.

Garret GT3071R Turbo:
OBX turbomanifoil w/ downpipe
550cc injectors
GS preformance Wg
Oil drain kit
Oilpipeing kit
HKS BOV w/ pipe
Vi-Pec Engine Management
Intercooler kit
Magnecor ignition cables and NGK iridium sparkpluggs
Forged Arrow Rods w/ arp studs
Turbocamshafts (not found any good yet)
Forged CP pistons with 1:8,5 compression
Rod crank brearings
Rod piston bearings
Valve train kit
Cylinderhead gasket top
MLS cylinderhead bottom gasket w/ apr studs
Valve seal rings
Vac high preformance valve springs

Gauges:

Boost gauge (bar)
Oilepressure gauge (bar)
Oiletemp måler (C)
AFR gauge


I was thinking on running 20-25psi boost.

Il go take som new pictures as soon as possible!

Haven't got time to update my project latly, but im still working on the car...
And I'v got alot of things done...
I'l try update it more often =)

tiFreak here is a picture of the wing, the wing was already mounted on the car when I got it, If u want il find out what wing it is, and how much it will cost. I think the wing is perfect for the ti.

Im getting a digitalcamera tomorrow, il take som pictures then, going to mount crash bumper and some interior stuff tomorrow aswell...
Btw. the rear side windows is brand new and tinted, done by myself =)

And yes, needs a drop really badly

that wing looks like a rieger also for those who were wondering.

Check list: S52 swap, manual transmission swap, 3.25 LSD with M Coupe diff cover, SuperSprint muffler, M3 style mirrors, AFE intake, ASC delete, M50 Manifold swap, UUC strut bar, ZHP lighted knob, Vaders, M-tech interior, OEM armrest, AC Schintzer front lip, AC Schnitzer rear spoiler, Roof spoiler, 18'' rims, M3 front drilled brakes, LED interior lights, 3 spoke Euro style steering wheel, OEM roof spoiler and bike holder, Thule fairing, Euro tail lights, oil pressure guage, carbon fiber hood painted to original paint (still showing CF weaving), what's next to do...?

Its not a lip on the bumper, its a whole bumper, it's name is Rieger Infinity II...
Going to add a DTM lip under the bumper asswell, looks realy great.
Think im going to buy 30\40 lowering springs...
Might be a rieger wing, have no idea ;P

I looked all over for those plasma lights, cause I saw a vid of one haveing them on youtube...
After some research I found them on german ebay... www.ebay.de

theyr not expensive =), and easy to mount... just be carefull with the cluster needles...
they also got a little thingy to adjust the light with that u putt somplace in your interior...
