Well I have the idea of why not just have a thread didicated to it... The site that can be easily used to find parts is www.realoem.com However, there are those times when you may have a problem identifying a part or part number or even finding where it goes. Well if you are having problems just post here and one the members will surely help out. I mean, thats what we guys/gals do on the org, we help each other out. Anyway, I even have a question. does anyone know what part number or which part it is for the underpanel under the steering wheel in the euro 318ti? It has a spot or hold and i want it to store my sunglasses there when i park. __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! There used to be a thread with links to helpful sites, but it seems like nobody ever uses it anymore. Anyway, the part# you're looking for is 51458185748 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref....=on&showeur=on | | | 02-02-2011, 09:12 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | So, I found a picture of the cubby Marv was talking about and it is freaking awesome. I took a few part numbers to the dealer and he couldn't get any of them to show up. Bummer, I'd love to have that in my car too. It looks like the european version doesn't have the knee bolster the US car has, I'm guessing thats why we don't have the cubby stock. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 02-10-2011, 06:58 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | Quote: Originally Posted by spidertri So, I found a picture of the cubby Marv was talking about and it is freaking awesome. The RHD E46s have a similar compartment, but it won't work in the USA car. 04 - TRIM PANEL LOWER LEFT ANTHRAZIT 51-45-8-185-748 | | | 02-10-2011, 03:56 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | I don't think so, the US ti has a knee bolster (part # 21) At the very least I think that would have to be removed. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...62&hg=51&fg=30 __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 02-10-2011, 04:24 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2010 Location: Leesburg. What I need is the 2 bolts that attach the bracket for the oil pick-up tube to the crank thing. I think they are called main rod bolts??? The bracket is number 14. I ordered 15 and 13 but the ones on the top of bracket are the ones I got incorrect. I thought it was number 4 in this pic. but its not the right ones __________________ | | | 05-16-2011, 12:10 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | THIS THREAD NEEDS TO BE STICKIED!!!! __________________ | | | 05-16-2011, 11:08 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | Bump, I need to order this ASAP.
