Question Lowered Car: Rear Alignment Issues

When i bought my ti, the previous owner had lowered the car with some H&R lowering springs, anyways the lowering affected the alignment of the rear wheels, they were toed in and the camber was awful as well. When we had to redo the shocks on the car, we also modified the rear trailing arm mounting bracket where it attaches the trailing arm to the rear axle carrier so that we could adjust the rear wheels. We modified the mounting bracket by welding on some brackets that take the place of the original brackets and can control the toe and the camber via the adjustment of two bolts. Did anyone else have this problem, and if so, how did you fix it?

What you described is the best way to add adjustability to the rear unless you are trying to go for a E30 M3 DTM style setup. Did your fix not work?

Do you have pics of your new brackets? That would be cool to see how you remedied the rear camber

no my fix works awesome, i was just wondering if anyone else fixed the issue in a different way. The reason i posed the question because there are many people who lower their cars and i wonder if they have to do anything to their alignment., and rochey, i dont have any photos, next time i have the wheels off ill get some.

Sweet deal! That's something to know for going to a coilover setup.
