But 385mm is just a smidgen to big. | | | 10-02-2008, 10:09 PM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2008 Location: Oxnard, CA - SoCal Posts: 258 | I'm not sure what this one is. My E30 wheel was the 370mm wheel. Feels the same to me. __________________ - David | | | 10-02-2008, 10:14 PM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Globally Posts: 1,162 | Most Tech II's are 370mm unless you happen across an E34 Wheel which is 385mm. On a Tech I there is not notch in between the spokes and the wheel where the small emblem is found. | | | 10-02-2008, 10:14 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | yeah dave. that'd be a great idea. next time we all meet up show me how you did it so i can fix mine up a bit. you said 600 grit, 1000 grit, and spray paint? what type? matt? or glossy? __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! Clean with alcohol (let dry). Then apply several coats of SEM Classic Coat - 5 minutes apart. here's a pic. Here's a website that sells it. I found it at my local automotive paint dealer. http://www.tcpglobal.com/autobodydepot/sealcoat.aspx __________________ - David | | | 10-07-2008, 07:13 AM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Ma Posts: 176 | wow that looks amazing! | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
