Suggest that you be willing to go outside your state of even region when you find a nice one that you really like. Check autotrader, bmwcca, and cars.com daily, and over time you'll get a good feel for what's a good deal. I live in Texas and found the car I wanted in Pennsylvania. Had a great time driving it home. Good luck, and have fun hunting the ti of your dreams. They're really fun to own, drive, and maintain. | | | 07-02-2011, 11:07 AM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: California, USA Posts: 20 | I just brought home my first 318ti! | | | 07-03-2011, 06:01 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | Good for you. Tell us about it. How far from home did you find it? | | | 07-06-2011, 08:35 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: California, USA Posts: 20 | I found it on this site actually. It was right across the bay from me but had been in storage for two years. The owner was living abroad and came back to sell her baby. It was very well cared but not with the detail that we are used to on this site. All the common problems are all there, headliner, a-pillars, stereo LCD, control arms, etc. It's a base auto with I'm guessing no options. It'll be my daily driver so I can start looking for a manual to convert to a track car. At least that's the dream in my head at the moment. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | Hi I'm a new member | chunkysause7 | Personal bios and Introductions | 5 | 09-25-2011 01:41 AM | New member. :) | XxKEITHxX | Personal bios and Introductions | 23 | 07-29-2008 07:53 AM | new member... | mz. bearings | Personal bios and Introductions | 7 | 07-29-2008 03:55 AM | New member...help!! | ARCHTI | Genuine BMW Parts | 6 | 07-09-2008 06:28 PM | New member | Massive Lee | Lounge | 2 | 04-15-2008 07:08 PM | |
