Hey David, I don't think I have enough to wrap two aftermarket headers. The reason is that the aftermarket headers have longer pipes compared to the stock header. My stock s52 manifolds took 19 feet and change to wrap, while an aftermarket header will probably require close to 40'. Since 19' covered both of my stock 6cyl headers, I'm certain 25 feet will be more than enough to do a stock 4cyl header and have a little leftover.

If you want, I'll sell you 50ft of wrap with a can of coating and 5 steel ties for $50 plus shipping. Then you might have enough leftover to do your buddy's.

Good luck taking your headers off... When my black ti wrecked I pulled the cat off and had to cut the bolts with a torch in order to get them off... I would imagine the engine side bolts will be hard too.

Yeah, the exhaust hardware has been known to corrode due to the high temperatures and exposure to the elements. The few that I've done went pretty smoothly, but I've heard of people snapping bolts. Might be a good idea to have a couple replacement studs or bolts/nuts on hand.

Again, my offer is for enough wrap TO DO AN OEM 4cyl or 6cyl header, steel ties and a can of coating in the color of your choice. Try to find that shipped to your door for 40 bucks! And if you do, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!!!

I'm just trying to recoup the money I've spent, pass a deal onto others and perhaps get my headers wrapped for free at the end of the day

Sorry no intention of crapping on the thread... just warning fellow NJ'ers/other places they use salt on the roads for winter... it's harder to remove the headers.

This is a great deal however, I might end up getting it since I have a spare header and engine lying around ... in fact put me down for a kit with Red paint please. Give me your paypal info and I'll send over the money.

BTW I've bought from jess before and he's a really good guy and has great prices.

Jess, have you baked cookies in your oven since doing this mod? If so, how do they taste?

By the way, I think this is a great deal... isn't anyone building an engine now?

Hahaha, well I haven't baked cookies, but I did cook some fish the other day

On a side note, I think I'm sold out of wrap now. So far, Pnosker and Marv are both doing their headers. That might leave me with enough for one more which I think I'm going to set aside for 30yrMbr.

good, removes the temptation from me lol, I was thinking of buying it but knew that I'd never get around to removing my header because I don't want to deal with the rusty bolts, and I hate working in tight spaces, so the wrap and sealer would probably just be sitting in my closet going to waste

Geeze man, I needed you up here today. I'm trying to help you out but you keep blowing it. I need to know how much wrap it takes to do an m42/m44 header. Now I'm gonna have to send pnosker more than enough so he doesn't run out. Guess what that means, you're going to leave me short so now I won't have enough to do three headers

Buy some more, and sell for a profit. And if you want, get a group buy system set up, so you can send them out 3 at a time.

There's really not much profit to be made. I pay 10 bucks a can for the coating, over 30 bucks for the wrap, and another 10 for the stainless steel ties. Then you gotta figure tax, packing materials, shipping and paypal fees, I'd be lucky to make 10 bucks per kit. Unless I had a way to buy the stuff in bulk or wholesale, it's really not worth it. Plus, aftermarket headers require almost double the amount of material
