Default Idle Issues

I have a very slight idle fluctuation. With the air-con on the idle comes down and settles at 850-900 rpm. If I look closely at the rev counter the needle dips and rises as the car "hunts" for idle (very slight - I cannot sense any roughness in the idle - only notice the changes in rev counter).

The car has only done 50k and has one year left on the warrantee - I have taken it in, but was told the "hunting" was so slight that I must not worry about it - great when the warrantee is up and I have to fork out for something expensive!

It is a 2001 M44 engine. Could it be:

1) the plugs?
2) O2 sensor?
3) Coils?
4) Throttle Position sensor?
5) Mass air flow sensor?
6) Idle speed control valve?

How do I start eliminating the faults - The $tealer says there are no code faults. The DISA unit has also just been replaced.
