Default Just got my 95 318ti

Hello, ive been registered for some time just didn't get a 318ti til today! 1995 5 speed with a short throw, nonroof model. 144k on it. Mostly daily duties, but I'm sure I'll play after I get the usual stuff sorted.

I was going to go look at it! The seller had a thorough listing and seemed honest. I hope it's great car for you. I've been looking for a ti and drove one so far but it needed too much work. Did you do a PPI?

Hey, seems like your pretty close. Whats the local community like in these parts?

I have had probably 50 cars in my time. Also, I figure I might as well mention the other claptrap I own. 1978 Mazda RX7. Rally car logbooked through Rally America.

Sorry, I don't like acronyms and jargon and I just used one. I meant pre-purchase inspection.

Santa Rosa, eh? Nice! I'm currently in Windsor but am down in SR all the time, keep an eye out for the beat up red sports package with Contour wheels!

Awesome RX7 too! Have you ever raced the Mendocino Rally? I've either spectated or photographed for a friend every year since 2012, super fun event to watch. Shame this year got postponed though due to low number of entries.

We have a good ti community here in the bay area. Not a lot going on up here in the north bay, but we'll usually have a meet down in Vallejo a couple times per year. Hope to see you at one!

Yea i've your car around before. The BRP sticker stood out. I write on Bill's site from timw to time. We were going to be running mendocino in my girlfriends car this year but the motor had some delays at the machine shop. She ran last year though and I serviced for her. 1971 2002.

The postponement will be good. The heat has been a chief compliant and kept entries low. April should be more attractive and let us build the event up.

Haha that's awesome! Yeah I'm a big fan of Mr. Caswell. I do remember that 2002! I have a couple photos I shot, never posted them because they didn't quite turn out how I like, but I'll link them for you

If you remember the Del Sol, that's who I was photographing for. It'll be nice though to have it earlier in the year, it's an awesome event but yeah the heat was terrible. Last year wasn't so bad, but 2013 and 2014 were both at about 105F.

I'll keep an eye out for your ti and say hi!

Lina says thanks for the photos! Surprisingly few photographers out.

The del Sol was Pete's Pollards right?
