What I've seen so far is that our windshield align differently so it won't fit as clean unless I do some more custome work. | | | 07-24-2007, 03:41 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Vancouver, BC Posts: 30 | Make sure you take lots of pics! people are really interested in doing swaps (me in particular) and want to know what we are getting into!!! __________________ 1995 318ti Jetblack - m3 CSL replica bumper - m3 side skirts - AC schnitzer lip spoiler - m3 clear side and signal markers - rear tints -328 callipers+rotors+pads | | | 07-30-2007, 01:24 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Round Rock, TX Posts: 399 | 7/29/2007 Breaks are about to come off and will be install on Aug 11th. Posts: 3,156 | Pull that entire front suspension and add the 1995 M3 offset lower control arm bushings (those are probably shot anyway), caster tops on the struts and change to the M3 struts and sway bar/end links. Don't forget the strut top reinforcements as well. Once the car is all together, and you've driven a few miles, have it aligned to the specs I have posted here under the tech section. If you don't get the entire sub frame, at least use the M roadster/coupe rear springs and M Coupe rear sway bar. If you keep the stock trailing arms in the rear, they have to be reinforced or they will rip. You won't be dissassapointed.... | | | 08-09-2007, 09:43 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Round Rock, TX Posts: 399 | Quote: Originally Posted by J!m Pull that entire front suspension and add the 1995 M3 offset lower control arm bushings (those are probably shot anyway), caster tops on the struts and change to the M3 struts and sway bar/end links. They haven't had any issues yet.. Thanks for the info though, I will think about it. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
